World chocolate day, also known as the International chocolate day observed on July 7th is all about indulging in chocolate without any guilt. Chocolates are not only one of the most delicious and versatile foods available to us but also pack loads of health benefits. World chocolate day celebrates this delicious, healthy and irreplaceable treat!
Chocolate can enhance and help to create the most luxurious desserts and can even be enjoyed and indulged on its own. The day also celebrates all kinds of goodies made from chocolate, including chocolate milk, hot chocolate, chocolate candy bar, chocolate cake, brownies, or anything covered in chocolate.
History of world chocolate day
Established in 2009, World Chocolate Day marks the supposed anniversary of the day that this iconic dessert made its first entrance into Europe in 1550. All around the world on this date, candy stores, and local suppliers place their best-loved merchandise on sale so that everyone, both young and old, can enjoy a nibble of the stuff. Many present-day chocolate companies began operations in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Cadbury began in England by 1868.
And then 25 years later Milton S. Hershey, purchased chocolate processing equipment at the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago, he is now one of the biggest and most famous chocolate creators in the world. He began the company by producing chocolate-coated caramels.
Although some would love to celebrate this day every day, the chocolate day gives you the perfect opportunity to eat your favorites in ample portions. The chocolate flavor is most definitely a favorite right throughout the world. At Baci itself you can enjoy chocolate in our cakes, ice-cream, milkshakes and your favourite chocolate nutella pizza. There is no need to tell you how to celebrate this day but if you are looking for a restaurant, Baci has something here for everyone.
